SOUTH AFRICAN CREATIVE ECLECTIC THEME

 This menu was created for the Van Tonder Wedding in June 2005. Mr. van Tonder was born in South Africa and he and his fiancé wanted the wedding to reflect his cultural roots, as well as her artistic creative side. Many of the South African recipes has Malaysian influences in wonderful sweet-hot spicy fair as in the Bobotti, it was a real hit. We got many raves including guest, Anna Cocilovo, who commented “It was the best food I ever had!” We orchestrated the music events, videography, photography for three events over the weekend for the Van Tonder Wedding, including a Barn party with an Irish Band, and the Wedding & Reception which featured the group “RIO”, which played Classical music for Wedding and hot Gypsy and Latin tunes for a lively reception. The breakfast the following day featured folk artists.
